For mobile use, I also own the Yaesu VX-6R HT. This works well as both a mobile and portable rig. When mobile I connect to a mag mount antenna.
Outside of the shack, I have the Hustler 6BTV vertical.

My equipment list consists of the Yaesu
FT-897D HF/VHF/UHF All Mode Transceiver. I have this radio in the
shack connected to an MFJ-949E tuner. I also have a RigblasterPro
which I use to bring my radio transmissions into the computer for PSK-31
etc.
