Just a quick update on the trip to Texas and back.  On the afternoon of Tuesday, 18 March our cat Moustey was still not 100% and the Vet had encouraged us to keep an eye on her for a few days just to make sure she continued to eat.  My wife Farah, and I decided to be on the safe side that I should leave in the afternoon and drive as far as Amarillo (about half way).  So I finished loading the truck and began the journey to Texas by myself.

I worked several contacts on HF and checked into a few nets while driving the almost 2000 miles to Texas and back to Colorado.  I kept a log of my contacts during the trip and am now in the process of uploading to eqsl, LoTW and printing a few cards. I was surprised with the overall performance of my mobile setup.  I received excellent RST reports from the stations and/or nets that I worked along the way.

Here is a short list of a few stations I worked and their QTH.

WA8VA Cleveland, OH
WB2JSM Kew Gardens, NY
WA3GHM Levittown, PA
KB1LKB Tolland, CT
W8FHF Norwich, OH
KD8HWA Norwich, OH

Thanks to all who responded to my CQ’s.  Until next time, 73.
